PLEASE BE PATIENT... Photos for
the above pages are coming soon
The pages above provide some highlights of our 2009 Colorado Adventure.
Clark and Marilyn Tuck were the primary Hosts, ably assisted by Gib and Sherry
Sprout. Clark did a fantastic job in selecting and setting up the golf,
which actually included two courses in the Winter Park area before the Official
Aloha Club event began. We played Pole Creek and Headwaters in Fraser
prior to the four courses we played with the Aloha Club. Vern and
Lorraine joined us in Winter Park just in time to celebrate Lorraine's birthday
at the Devil's Thumb Ranch restaurant. That was a night to
remember!!
In addition to the golf, we had special evening events at Clark and Marilyn's, Ed Imatani and Barbara Bank's, and the Golden Hotel. Mahalo Nui Loa to the hosts and the many contributors for those evenings!
Karen and I had certainly had a wonderful time. We enjoyed getting to see our old friends again and meeting some new folks. John and Lynda Holt, Sandie Hill, Angelo and Mary Scavone, Skip (the BIG winner) and Dawn Johnson, Bill Peretti and Aaron Inouye (what a player!!) played with us for the first time. Our Ohana continues to grow!!.
We certainly missed Ben and Lily Inouye, but their Aloha Spirit was with us as always. George Moore and Heather have also attended most of our previous events, and they were also missed this year. George has had some medical issues, but we hope to see them again next year in Sante Fe. Which reminds me... Dave and Karen Tagawa have graciously volunteered to host another Aloha Club outing in Sante Fe New Mexico next year. Dates to be announced later.
Enjoy the pictures... let me know if something doesn't work right. If this doesn't satisfy your memory needs, I have created a photo book that includes 230 pages of photos from Aloha Club trips since 2000. Over 100 pages are from the Colorado 2009 trip. The books are not cheap, but if you want to order one, you can do it on line at blurb.com. Search for "Aloha Club Adventure", or call me if you have trouble finding it. (209-576-1424 or bogeycook@aol.com),
I look forward to seeing you next year in Sante Fe. I'm sure Dave and Karen will be out with planning information with a few months to spare.
